May 18 2010 - General Meeting
Please join us on May 18th for a presentation on the topic of Building Information Modeling, otherwise known as BIM. The program, titled “BIM – Where is it Today? includes the following objectives:
1. Understand the definition and evolution of BIM.
2. Understand BIM Project workflow and how it applies to drawing production.
3. Understand the business value of BIM and what it means to the Production Manager.
4. Understand how to get to BIM and training to implement BIM.
5. Understand how BIM can assist in fewer document coordination errors.
This program qualifies for Continuing Education credit.
EMERGING PROFESSIONALS PRESENTATION
This month, in addition to our regular program, Andy Weiss and Deanna Nafzger of kpb architects will give a brief presentation on the implementation of BIM on projects in Alaska.
